Hot off the Presses: Lady Elect 2 by Nikita Lynette Nichols

I met Nikita Lynette Nichols when I read, Lady Elect. Lady Arykah was a memorable character who stayed with me. She was big, beautiful and bold. I love a woman with such confidence. Her love affair with Lance kept me turning the pages. Lady Elect 2 will be my first read for 2015!

ABOUT THE BOOK:

After a brutal rape, which caused a miscarriage, by a member of the church, Lady Arykah Miles-Howell returns to Freedom Temple Church of God In Christ stronger than ever. She reclaims her title as Lady Elect and soars in ministry next to her husband, Bishop Lance Howell. But Lady Arykah soon faces her toughest challenge yet, as the first lady of the church, when Bishop Lance’s ex-girlfriend, Angela Moore, appears from out of nowhere determined to rekindle a relationship with her long lost love and take Lady Arykah’s place in the church.

Lady Arykah must also carry the burdens of others. Adultery, betrayal, deceit, an unwed pregnancy and stupid church traditions are just a few of the issues that are dropped at Lady Arykah’s feet. But when she finds herself behind bars, staring at the four walls in a jail cell, Lady Arykah is left with no choice but to trust in her own faith in God as she tries to hold on to her marriage, her spiritual composure, and her spot on the front pew.

Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a ride on an emotional rollercoaster. Lady Elect 2 – Arykah Reigns is filled with big loops, unexpected turns and plenty of drops that you won’t see coming.
