Review: The Stolen Daughter

The Stolen Daughter The Stolen Daughter by ReShonda Tate Billingsley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First of all, I finished this book in a few hours. Second of all. where has this book been all my life? A bit dramatic, I know, but I really enjoyed this read by ReShonda Tate Billingsley. I have read so many of her books already and this up there with my faves. Jill Reed learns a truth about herself and her mother that she was not prepared to face. I loved how the author allowed us to see the "WHY" behind each character's actions. You will not be disappointed in this read.
Thank you, #Netgalley

Review: The Dilemma

The Dilemma The Dilemma by B.A. Paris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Dilemma is a family drama. What had me turning the pages was my intense curiosity of what happened to Marnie, the daughter of main characters, Livvie and Adam. The focus of the story was around Livvie's 40th birthday bash which she has been planning for 40 years.
Throughout the story, all I could say was, please, please TALK to each OTHER. But, then, I guess, The dilemma would have been a five page read if they did.
I think B.A. Paris challenged herself and I loved that.
Thanks #Netgalley
