Trent Knight is the chief of police who is raising two daughters after his wife was killed by a drunk driver. The main person he has blamed is back into town and Trent wants Carmen gone. But Carmen is in town for a little while and she might not be who he thinks she is, all he have to do is give her a chance.
I really enjoyed this read by Kathy Douglass. I loved the theme of family and forgiveness and second chance. I read this in hours and it warmed my heart.
